As a local PNW resident I know Seattle has all these amazing spots to visit! As a creative and photographer I know the struggle to work with the weather and still find spots to get photos at. So sometime mid April I had plans to meet up with a friend to discuss a future photo project. She picked out a coffee shop called Leon Coffee House in the U-District knowing I would swoon.

Amiga, dead ass I showed up and I knew this was going to be the perfect spot. This isn’t your usual cute coffee shop. This is a 100% Mexican owned coffee house. They’ve got all the classics and some. Amiga, they have tamiles and great coffee with adorable coffee art!! The biggest thing for me though was their fun and creative setup.

I knew instantly I had to come back. This time I came back with fellow Latina photographer xxxxxxxxxxxx to collaborate on a quick shoot. Together we created these final photos. *insert chefs kiss here* My absolute fav spots had to be;
upstairs in the pink space
And because my nostalgia gets the best of me, the Neon sign quoting Elefante “Así es la vida”

I definitely recommend this spot not just for their eye catching aesthetic but because their whole ambiance is perfection. The staff is super friendly, the drinks and food are bomb, and it’s a great spot to sit, chat, and take some quick photos at.
